Rodney Nowell
WOOSTER -- Rodney J. Nowell, 47, of Wooster, died Sunday, July 20, 2008,
at Wooster Community Hospital.
Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home,
Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Services will be Friday at 12:30 p.m. at the
funeral home with Pastor Nathan Ward officiating. Burial will be at Ohio
Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, where military rites will be

Rodney was born Nov. 4, 1960, in New London, to Ralph Edward and Nancy Marie
(Berry) Nowell. He married Karin Young on July 15, 2000.He served in the U.S.
Army. He worked for Diamonite in Shreve for more than 20 years.He was a member
of the Wooster Church of the Nazarene.
He belonged to the Missing Links Motorcycle Club and loved camping and spending
time with his family. He was a dad to most.
Rodney will be deeply missed by his wife and children, Melissa Marie Smith, Jessica
Honeycutt, Jennifer Miller, Teresa Miller, Joshua Nowell; grandchildren, Makenzie
Nowell and Trevor Nowell; brother, Rusty (Becky) Nowell; sisters, Cheryl Nowell and
Andrea (Tony) Woodward; nieces and nephews, Tim Nowell, Theresa Nowell, Tiffany
(Ben) LaBo, Jennifer Bowman, Megan, Marissa and Andrew Woodward; great-niece,
Savanna Bowman; great-nephew, Tylor Bowman; and special friends, J. R. and
Charlie Hurt, Jim and Cindy Norris and Denny Heimbuch.
He was preceded in death by his dad.
